Creating your own language
To me, language is everything. The way a person, or a people, use language can tell you a huge amount about their background. Language can truly tell history.
Avoid info-dumping
Sci-fi and fantasy is prone to the info-dump. So, how do you avoid boring your readers with information whilst making sure they know everything they need to, to understand the world you’ve created?
